The Department of Homeland Security will not move forward with its plan to convert a warehouse in Merrimack, New Hampshire, into a 500-bed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, Gov. Kelly Ayotte announced Tuesday.
The proposal had drawn pushback from local and state officials in New Hampshire, while its proximity to Maine also generated rumors that it would be used to hold people detained here."

This was a massive blizzard for New England. Massachusetts Governor Healey put out a travel ban and Providence got 3 feet of snow.
Meanwhile, ICE tried (unsuccessfully) to fly a charter flight with deportees. They were stuck on the tarmac at a Portsmouth NH airport for 12 hours because… of course they were.
