Pääskyt tuovat kesän! – Swallows bring summer!
Räystäs- ja haarapääskyt ovat runsain mitoin muuttaneet kuun alusta. Ne lentävät pitkän matkan Eteläisestä Afrikasta asti ja syövät hyönteisiä, joita säiden lämmettyä tuntuu ilmaantuvan koko ajan runsaammin. Linnut pitivät puun latvassa taukoa ja pyrähtivät sitten lentämään edestakaisin laajan ruovikon ylle.

House martins and barn swallows have migrated in large numbers since the beginning of the month. They fly long distances all the way from Southern Africa and eat insects, which seem to appear more and more abundantly as the weather warms up. The birds took a break at the top of the tree and then took off to fly back and forth over the vast reedbed.
