Justin MillerWell, it's gonna look like all I do lately, but today I brought a *different* ancient computer to a *different* meetup — #HTMLDay, actually. I set up my 1989 IBM PC clone luggable 386 to be a web server, FTP server, GUI page previewer, or HTML editor. You need to pick one task at a time because, you know, DOS, but people seemed to really enjoy it. The site I slapped together is a random collective noun generator - lots of people contributed nouns at the event - I think we as a group were called an "unordered list".
It might be a little bird heavy because I obsess over birds. If there are collective nouns I missed throw them in the comments of this thread - I'll add them if they fit.
It was also nice to meet some recurse center folks in person and see some XOXO people again.
