Looking like that's a wrap on the 2024 season
Overall pretty successful year for my NC1 #Miata, I eeked out a 1:18.9 at Waterford today which is the PB on the current set of tires, not my very best drive but recovering lost Horsepower helped
The #24HoursOfLemons Honda #fitposting is on ice until spring next year but we made it to Road America and everyone got a full stint so a huge success
In regard to car shenanigans 2024 will be a year for me to remember

Last #HPDE track day is this Saturday and it turns out the shop working on my #Miata is closed this week
I am going to show up to instruct to see off my people for this season
There's a chance I may let the intrusive thoughts win and see if my $2500 Mazda 3 passes tech inspection for a romp during the instructor session too, we'll see
My first HPDE weekend of the year this coming weekend. A little trepidation as I am only 90% or so recovered from recent abdominal surgery.

Bracket racing is just tactical sandbagging to score a targeted lap time consistently
I managed to score 2nd place out of a grid of 6 entrants, all drivers had a delta of less .1 of a lap or less and my disparity was just .041 of second
