Good morning and happy Wednesday!

Last night, I learned, that if you put a candy cane in a hot glue gun, it will melt and you can use it like hot glue.

Which is helpful when making a gingerbread house.

Just putting that information out there.

So, yea.

EDIT: As others have rightly pointed out, glue guns are not designed for food prep. This is outside of the norm for this device. So, YMMV and there may be issues with trace metals or plastics from the glue gun itself getting into your liquid candy cane. But it DOES actually work and it does make, crafting a decorative gingerbread house a LOT faster.
