I just listened to a #podcast from @progresstx where they were suggesting that #BlackAthletes choose an #HBCU over an #SEC #university because, #football.

I used their "Connect with us" form to point out that this isn't on Black athletes to solve. White students — athletes and non-athletes — should consider alternatives, especially #HBCUs, too. Sometimes we don't have #options, but when we do, we should choose intentionally.

I'm attending a state school because I'm #disabled and my tuition and fees are waived. So I understand that not everyone has this option.
