Early October: upgraded from Windows 10 to 11 - everything worked fine.

Late October: RAID failed (2× Crucial MX500 1 TB in RAID 0 via AMD RAIDXpert2).
Repaired it → failed again.
Reinstalled Win11 → failed again.

So I moved my gaming setup to Linux.

Before that:
Windows 10 was my secondary system for gaming, running on the SATA RAID.
Linux (on a 1 TB NVMe) is my main system for work, tinkering, and AI.

With Proton, most games run great, but ray tracing only works partially – probably due to the amdgpu driver.
My RX 6700 XT was too expensive not to use RT properly.

RE 2/3/4 Remake - no RT
RE 1 HD Remake & Revelations - no cutscenes
Control - no RT
Silent Hill 2 Remake - works perfectly (+RT)
Fobia - works with RT
Dead Space Remake & Callisto Protocol - not tested yet

Bought a new 250 GB NVMe just for Windows 11:
Gigabyte Gen4 4000E (250 GB) - 24 €, perfect size for a clean Win11 setup.

Installed it, everything runs perfectly.
Wiped the old Win11 system partitions on the RAID with diskpart, then expanded the games partition.

First steps after installation:
- Converted the account to an offline account
- Ran Win11Debloater
- Removed everything (including Edge)
- Installed Firefox, Signal, Steam, and Epic
- Enabled WSL, Hyper-V, and SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support

Then, under Linux: ran update-grub.
Now Win11 boots through GRUB instead of UEFI, since I never installed the RAID driver under Linux.

Now:
Linux - main system for work, projects and AI.
Windows 11 - secondary system for games and university tools (CLC, Mestrenova, Origin).

Next target: RX 9060 XT - or maybe straight to the RX 9070 XT.
