Good morning fellow Mastos, or is it? It's Sunday 30th March known in the UK as "Dicking with the clock day". I'm not a fan of British Summer Time as it makes no difference to the number of hours of daylight, plus, it's difficult to reset my sun dial! #GrumpyOldGit

A while back Sacha arranged to take our two youngest grandchildren to a local village pantomime (without consulting parents or me).
It's this afternoon.

I have a deep irrational loathing of pantomimes - possibly from a suppressed childhood memory.
I know some of the cast - it's an amateur dramatic company - so I'm going to have to lie about how wonderful it was on at least two fronts.
The logistics of moving the children across the county are fraught (and I'm expected to sort out) and that's without the issue of feeding them.

Of course I'm going to have to miss Petanque today because I'll be transporting children. Not that I'm fully recovered from whatever lurgi I've had over the last couple of weeks.

It'll be fine in the end.

I'm wondering how many tonnes of CO2 and other chemicals, which normally we are supposed to be concerned about, were set on fire and hurled into the atmosphere just to "welcome a new year"!

Wish there was a way to exclude #AprilFools jokes from your newsfeed (on 'the web' in general).

I like a joke as much as the next guy but now the combination of every single niche news site feeling the need to have their tedious little low-effort joke story with news aggregators surfacing them all for days afterwards means a news feed is basically fucked for the next week at least. Even worse combined with clickbait "could easily be true" headlines. Tedious.
