I have had a #GoBag packed and ready for at least 13 years.

I know this because today when I checked it I found a pouch of trail mix with a best-by date in 2013. 😳

Checked my #GoBag to see what food I had in it.

I totally forgot I had #freezedried #banana #IceCream in there along with some flameless heater bags for the retort meals - #ButterChickenWithRice & #PorkSausages.

I am sooo tempted to eat the freeze dried ice cream!

Last year my new year's resolution was to de-google my life and software. I did so completely and swiftly. Same with billionaire owned and curated junk media and websites. Walled garden websites are not worth my time. If EFF's Privacy Badger shows a tracker, I know they may be compromised. I remember well how to thrive before google and now greatly enjoying those pleasures again. Paper maps can be printed from open sources.

For this new year, I'll be working on my #GoBag and increasing my #OffGrid #solar capabilities. Opportunities in the USA are becoming very limited, so I will take them while still available.
