Perpendicular Gothic is the only style of architecture to originate from England. It took the Gothic styles of the previous centuries and made the arches wider and the windows bigger. Other features are elaborate vaulted ceilings and an emphasis on space. Gloucester Cathedral and Sherborne Abbey are some of my favourite examples.
