Realization of the day: fediverse has different local cultures with its ecosystem. Different servers can have different niche topics and culture in their local feed, but I also see a bit of different culture between softwares used. #Mastodon is not #Hubzilla, and neither is masto.ai the same as chaos.social

I find Mastodon's progressive web app ("PWA" - basically an app that loads in your phone's browser) to be the most straight forward and feature complete amongst options available on #Android.
You don't need an app to use Mastodon. There's an excellent official website interface you can use, it works well on phones, computers and tablets. The web interface gets all the latest features first. (Note: in mobile mode the search box is hidden behind the # or đ icon) To try it out, just go to your server's website and log in with your account.
