I didn't love this British creature feature and I'm not sure it was film fest material.
It has some great cinematography, a very effective bone shrine and good effects work. But it loses points for its lack of originality, self aware tropes and frustrating character choices.

Adam O’Brien’s Bury the Devil was one of my biggest surprises at FrightFest Glasgow.
A one-shot possession horror set inside a storm-lashed house, it’s a claustrophobic and technically impressive piece of indie horror filmmaking

El parque Six Flags Great Adventure anunció su evento “GreatFUL November”, una extensión de la temporada que se va a realizar entre el 6 al 30 de noviembre, ofreciendo ofertas especiales, actividades de beneficencia y la última oportunidad de recorrer el Wild Safari antes de su cierre anual el 8 de noviembre.
Los visitantes disfrutan de experiencias de temporada tras el cierre de Fright Fest presentado por SNICKERS y Kids Boo Fest, con promociones diseñadas para retribuir a militares, socorristas y organizaciones benéficas locales, fortaleciendo la conexión con la comunidad regional del noreste de Estados Unidos.
Actividades y promociones destacadas
Del 6 al 8 y del 15 al 16 de noviembre, militares y socorristas recibieron boletos gratuitos al presentar identificación válida, mientras que sus familiares pudieron acceder a boletos con descuento de 19,99 dólares para hasta seis acompañantes, asegurando acceso a las atracciones y eventos especiales del parque durante esas fechas.
Los titulares de pases de temporada participaron en la promoción “Bring-A-Friend” con boletos BAF a 20 dólares, fortaleciendo la asistencia del público recurrente y generando oportunidades de disfrute para nuevos visitantes en actividades diseñadas para toda la familia.
Donaciones a la comunidad
Durante esta jornada, Six Flags Great Adventure entregó más de 3 mil boletos, comidas, bebidas y pases de estacionamiento a familias beneficiarias de Hospital de Niños de Filadelfia, Big Brothers Big Sisters y A Kid Again, brindando apoyo a quienes enfrentan circunstancias difíciles y promoviendo la inclusión social mediante recreación y esparcimiento.
La acción solidaria buscó reforzar la responsabilidad social del parque, involucrando tanto al personal de Six Flags como a los visitantes en actividades de retribución comunitaria y ofreciendo una experiencia de alegría y alivio a las familias participantes.
Últimas emociones de otoño
Los asistentes experimentaron laberintos inspirados en The Conjuring, La Masacre de Texas (2022), Army of the Dead y Trick ‘r Treat, incluyendo Big Top Terror presentado por M&M’S, Asylum y The Witches Reflection presentado por SNICKERS, reforzando el entretenimiento de miedo para públicos adolescentes y adultos.
Las zonas de miedo incluyeron shows en vivo como Unleashed y The Awakening, mientras que la diversión diurna se mantuvo con actividades familiares de truco o trato, creando un balance entre terror y entretenimiento para todos los visitantes. –sn–
