It's natural when discussing your height in centimeters to subtract 100; most adults are going to be 1xx, why waste precious syllables. This leads to an analog of -40 degrees (both F and C):

165 centimeters is almost 65 inches.

So, those of you who are 5ft 5in, you can just say your height is 65, without specifying units, and be understood correctly by most everyone.
