TL;DR Was sich ändert in Kurzform: Die sehr eindeutige Resonanz auf die Ausnahme hat ergeben, dass das Projekt Creature ChroniCles nach altbekannter Foto-Policy geregelt sein wird. Es wird also vor jeder Aufnahme um das Einverständnis aller Beteiligten gebeten. Creature ChroniCles reloaded Im Pre-Congress-Stress gehen leider manchmal Dinge und Details unter, die für einen selbst selbstverständlich scheinen, für andere aber alles andere als klar und eindeutig sind. Das ist uns beim Blog-Artikel zum Projekt „Creature ChroniCles“ passiert. Wir waren zu sehr in unserer Innensicht gefangen. Die meisten von uns kennen Stella gut, und aus dieser Perspektive sahen wir kein Problem mit ihrem Projekt.
1/3 Okay, nachdem ich mich bisschen eingelesen habe paar Gedanken zur #39c3-#fotopolicy-Debatte.
Erstmal finde ich es nicht so schlimm, dass ich jetzt mein Ticket los werden möchte. Ist auf vielen anderen Veranstaltungen die ich besuche leider auch so, dass unkonsensuelles Fotografieren geduldet wird und das ist kein Grund für mich nicht hinzugehen. Am Ende gibt es so oder so Leute die sich nicht an die Absprache halten. Ist traurig, aber ist so.

#39c3 #fotopolicy 4/ Veröffentlichung auch schwierig, entweder die Fotos werden nach Umgestaltung immer noch als personenbezogen behandelt (dann gilt die gleiche Interessenabwägung entweder in der DSGVO oder über §§ 22, 23 KunstUrhG) Oder: man nimmt an, dass dadurch anonymisiert wird, was ggf. eine DSFA-Pflicht auslöst, da Anonymisierung nach weit verbreiteter Ansicht als Hochrisikoverarbeitung gilt

It's an event with 17000 people, I'm sure countless photos will be taken without asking me. I expect this when I enter the event. I'm Canadian though, not German, so maybe that's why I don't understand the outrage.
literally yesterday i was thinking of how to work around the photo policy for an art project I’m thinking of doing. with respect to fellow attendees, by not including anyone that wouldn’t like it, etc. because that’s the right thing to do.
it’s so weird and surreal to wake up to someone being allowed to violate that policy outright.
