When designing 100m2 home, every single square meter has to earn its keep. Since it’s just the two of us living here day-to-day, our focus has been on clever, flexible solutions rather than adding extra rooms that stand empty most of the time.
The house is packed with hidden features and functional surprises:
The TV Lounge & Guest Room: With a single sliding wall, our cozy TV lounge transforms into a private guest room. The sofa turns into a bed, while the home office and wardrobe are neatly tucked away behind the sliding panels for a clean look.
The Music Room: Features a built-in Murphy bed that folds seamlessly into the wall when not in use.
Grandchildren's Nooks: Our four grandkids have their own built-in sleeping alcoves, creating cozy, cabin-like spaces just for them.
This is a house built to be used—crafted from solid, durable materials, where spaces adapt to our life, not the other way around.

From Vision to Reality

The interior walls are finally going up, and it changes everything. Seeing the rooms take shape gives us a whole new perspective on the house and how it functions. What was once just an open skeleton is now becoming a home with flow, light, and purpose.
There is something special about seeing the transition from a technical drawing to a physical space you can walk through. It makes the connection between the forest outside and our life inside feel much more real.
