Al Franken has an interesting interview with former W speechwriter David Frum, a Canadian who compares extra-heavy crude extraction in Alberta and Venezuela.
He says the major US oil companies are taking a pass on the latter due to the cost and instability. He also says the claim of 300+ billion barrels was something Chavez made up, and hasn’t been well vetted.
