I shop at #FoodMax & #Luckys, so I just downloaded the #Flashfood app to see if it actually can save me any $ on anything I want to buy or not.

Looked a little into #FoodWaste apps. Random surplus food, near expiration, to pick up at 1/3 price. In the US, participation's only good for big coast cities. Otherwise pfft, don't need apps for a supermarket clearance shelf.
EDIT: People post photos of produce, so I guess that's the bonus.
My local Superstore is participating in the #flashfood app. Seriously, folks, if you are stretched to your budget limit this app is beyond helpful!
I bought three veggie boxes which are 'old' veggies or ugly veggie. I'm a retired chef and can attest none of this produce was even close to expired. This was a $15 haul:
