First open terrarium I made yesterday, while we rewatched Strange World with our daughter. The little plantlets are nerve plants (Fittonia) I propagated from other terrariums, and the moss grew randomly in other pots. First time also using activated carbon between the compost and the grit, but probably I didn't have to.

Three weeks ago, my 3yo daughter and I found a woodlouse in one of our walks around our house. After carefully wrapping it with a tissue, we put it inside one terrarium I bought earlier this year.
The little fella was nowhere to be seen all this time, I even feared for the worse. But today, a day after my birthday, here it is, roaming around with its offspring!

Eine Frage die bei uns im Markt immer mal wieder aufkommt ist ob Mosaikpflanzen giftig sind?

Fittonias sind nicht giftig, und dadurch komplett sicher für Haustiere und Kinder. Du gießt die Fittonia am besten ungefähr ein Mal pro Woche, wenn die Erde nur noch leicht feucht ist und fast getrocknet.
