Old #oven flue pipe shortened, cleaned and deburred. #Fireclay #stone with rounded cuts on both sides to fit exactly with ca. 10mm room for morter and sealing.

I couldn't get a cleaning opening with the dimensions of the old lid, so i had to drill custom #holes in two thick #fireclay stones. I used a special cutting drill on my angle grinder.

I had to carefully chisel out the front again because I made a stupid mistake. The large brick under the oven entrance had a protrusion, which i had to undo in order to align it correctly.
