My longest standing WIP is finally done. I don't remember exactly when it was started, but it was bought for me by my mother at a local market, if I recall right it was a Christmas market, and she passed away late 2003. It may have been the 2003 market but it could have been an earlier year as well.

Was up till 2:30 a.m. and then woke up at 6:00 a.m. to finish the final chapter of my book. I still have to work today too. It's finally complete.

And ... The End 🙂(Though I've never actually put that at the end of a novel since the story always continues ...)

I've finally finished novel #2 — "Sir Lanka Files" (no, not a typo).

I thought I had 1.5 chapters to go according to my original plan (and because I like round numbers and 1.5 chapters would have put the chapter count at 30).

But as I finished chapter 29, I realized that I had a better ending with chapter 29 (and a hook for the next novel). So I stopped at chapter 29 even though a part of my brain was screaming at me for ending on 29 😛

Now I begin the editing. So another month or so at least before it's ready for publishing?

OMG. It's done. It was stuck at about half a chapter from the end for... a week? And today, I finished it!!

Now to let my readers have it for a bit and then I'll fix all the problems and get it formatted and then publish the blasted thing! Woo HOO!!
