No one understanding geography or traffic patterns of major metropolitan centers outside of the Maybe one they're familiar with will kill your setting realism. Also, don't trust google maps for static traffic data; it'll be wrong/outdated again within 2 minutes, nevermind at whatever remove you're using it on timeline wise. #fictweeting
