I think I need to dedicate some time to setup my own #Fediinstance as the character limit here on #chaossocial always is kinda annoying (and a lot of users on other instances hate chain posts to the point that they block you for it).

Do you mean like consciously noticing and #celebrating the day you joined Fedi? We can see that as a nice thing and maybe an opportunity to think about supporting one's #fediInstance.

If you mean algorithmic reminders of toots made years ago. We say leave that stuff on the #dotcons, whose business model is consuming ppls time and energy.

Finding older toots is what #hashtags are for.

I'm struck by similarities of the #Fediverse & the #LiquidDemocracy #experience:

The #network of #federation & #defederation in the Fediverse, & the #tree of #delegation|s in Liquid Democracy show some remarkable extend of #analogy.

For example, when a #FediInstance decides to #block another #instance, then this is conceptually similar to breaking a #ChainOfDelegation in Liquid #Democracy by a person in the chain redirecting her #delegation or withdrawing it.
