Wer den E-Mail-Verkehr der öffentlichen Hand in proprietäre #Clouds verlagert, unterwirft sich ökonomischen Interessen und verliert die Kontrolle über zentrale Verwaltungsdaten. Gerade im Behördenumfeld müssen #Datenschutz, Verschlüsselung und Interoperabilität selbstverständlich sein und nicht optional.

Apparently the reaction to Discord's approach to protect their users (age verifying a minority which intransparent algorithms weren't able to judge) scared them so much they had one of their founder (not the new CEO! 🤔) post about how we all missunderstood them without actually proposing any real protection for their users: https://discord.com/blog/getting-global-age-assurance-right-what-we-got-wrong-and-whats-changing

This post does not propose any changes! Claiming that discriminating against a minority is a valid approach just to stop the impact on their value when they go public this year is peak capitalism...

The @nitrokey 3A NFC just landed in the lab today. Finally getting my hands on a security key with fully open-source hardware and firmware (written in Rust).

They also included a sticker that sums up the channel pretty well.
