@Mollarom I played this game for the first time over the holiday break. It was a great adaptation of the underlying rule set to this new setting. We had a good time!
Our ending was quite like the Tolkien's, with a huge ally army amassing to distract the enemy and let Frodo & Sam get the ring to Mordor. Except Aragorn was off wandering around somewhere in the northwest killing random orcs.

It is pretty good!! First time but looking forward to a second ! Took us just about 2.5hrs to complete.
Learned Fate of the Fellowship yesterday and really enjoyed it. Great co-op game. Probably sold a bit by the fact we barely managed to win on the first run. Still, it felt like there was always something interesting to do. Solid variation on the Pandemic style setup.
