Der Herrschersitz von Haus Forkys, und seinem Patriarchen Baron Alrik Forkys, wird im Volksmund abfällig als "Burg Röhricht" bezeichnet, was wohl auf die Holzbauweise der ständig im Verfall begriffenen Festungsanlage zurückzuführen ist.
