Fandom Stars Wiki

Here's a screenshot leaked by a friend of the wiki community, a Fandom Star. Some of this seems concerning.

These questions are the questions that will be asked at the Fandom Stars-exclusive roundtable in a few days.

(Please don't disclose the identity of the leaker for their safety. There is currently an internal witch-hunt at Fandom.)

Fandom(.com) has blocked all wiki.gg links on its wikis as of this morning, 2023 Nov 9.

Context: wiki.gg is a competing wiki farm that hosts many wikis that used to reside on Fandom.

It's nice to see communities leaving Fandom (not Fandom) (not fandom, either!) (aka formerly Wikia) (uuuh I think they were Curse, too?) in favour of setting up their own wiki presence or at least going with community / cooperative #wiki providers like #Miraheze.

But for the communities that haven't, there's a nice simple Stylus script (for eg.: #Firefox ) for browsing those sites reasonably: like [1] and many others.

Updated Fandom (Clean) to clear out Fandom junk from mediawiki instances. Merged with Yellow Sidebar removal. Enlarged width of page.

@nikki @ThatJacquiOne There are quite a few very dedicated fans of #CoronationStreet working on #Corriepedia.fandom.com. I've made a few edits over the years. (I'm rather a fan of #Fandomdotcom, as several #Fediverse members know.) Site has articles about most characters and actors and episodes and houses and barmaids etc. It's "#Corrie" in the #UK, but in #NewZealand even the broadcaster calls it #Coro".
