So a few days ago I asked my community on Discord to vote on which of several notebooks I should write my next story in. Of the notebooks, those above were selected with one vote *each*, so I had to either throw dice or select one... a not so simple task when you'll be writing in it for the next however long it takes:

The first book to be written in (and then discussed/read on stream) will be the **Red Book**. As pointed out, its design lends itself to being fantastical (it was purchased at a Renaissance Faire, after all) and it also has replaceable pages: I'll be penning a first person fantasy story from the (mostly) perspective of a young Bard, gathering new pages as necessary.

The greyish blue book on the left which holds my Host's "name" will be reserved for continued entries in the #Fadeout universe, of which the #Lulzlore plays a small part. That was the original purpose of that notebook when it was made for the Host at a small family run stall in the Philippines. ^^;;

The Scrollbook on the far right does not have a set story assigned to it yet- there was some difficulty acquiring the paper for it (they don't just sell A5 stationary here) and what paper it does have was meant as refill for a notebook, and... uh... leaves much to be desired. Its a bit cumbersome and expensive. ^^;;

The Fade Out von #Brubaker / #Phillips ist ein sehr beliebtes Werk, da gab es viel Lob. Ich fand die Geschichte gut, aber mir gefällt bspw. die Reihe Reckless besser. Es kam mir etwas langatmig vor, Reckless ist dichter, schärfer, intensiver, aber auch kürzer.

Eine Empfehlung kann ich trotzdem aussprechen, da alle typischen Elemente bzw. Erzählweisen von Brubaker / Phillips vorkommen und diese Kombi qualitativ immer gute Crime Stories liefert.

We are looking for software to #silence a part of #MP3 files without re-encoding other parts (and thus degrading quality/integrity).

Any suggestions?

Bonus points if the software can produce #bleeping sounds too, not just silence. There was freeware many, many years ago called #mp3Trim, which could cut #mp3Files and could add #fadeIn and #fadeOut. It seemed to change discreet blocks of the mp3 file. You couldn't select precise times.
