OK, looking for opinions.

As the big fabric store is ridding itself of paper patterns, I have bought some patterns for basics: sleeved blouse, trousers, blazer, a skirt etc.. AND of course I bought more fabric while I was there too. 😉

Now I need a sort out. Not a clear out, but rather an organization of patterns and fabrics. Currently I have the patterns by themselves according to clothing type but have the fabric in labelled boxes ie linen, rayon . The system is okay, I can find things.

Question: keep it this way OR does anyone sort/store their patterns with the recommended fabric choices?

Bah! My old #fabric supplier is only shipping within Canada. Time to either move back... or find elsewhere to by yards or bolts from.

I wonder did they ever get the #smell of #Fabric #Softener out? I think probably not. In my experience, with certain materials, it is all but impossible. Maybe if they left it out in the rain and sun for about 6 months to a year. But that would probably destroy the fabric itself.
