This #introduction is going to sound odd, but I'm not sure who I want to be at the moment. So I'm hoping this can be a space for exploration.

For a decade, I've worked in communication theory around heritage resources (parks, museums, etc.) and I still love that work. (See: https://www.practicalnecromancy.com/interp)

But in the end it's all been #storytelling mixed with #experientialdesign, with a heavy dose of #engagement and #userexpression. Which is why the idea of gamifying places and spaces appeals to me - building (or hijacking) landscapes into spaces where people build collaborative experiences, investigate stories themselves, and create new ones.

So... I'm not sure who I am, in short. I'm a #metamodernist storyteller, I guess, for what that means in a #transmedia narrative landscape.

Hello, I'm Tiara (they/them), currently based in Melbourne Australia. I gained a bit of notoriety here for being racially harassed within my first few hours on Mastodon, and then speaking about race and Mastodon in general. I've been away for years but thought I'll see how this place is now.

I'm in a transition space lifewise - got hit by Covid twice & the recovery is making me rethink a lot of what I want to do with my time! Right now I'm interested in bringing video games & performance art together, as well as immersive experiential design

- English stage adaptation of The Great Ace Attorney - still in licence acquisition phase
- Professional Fairy Godmother - wish granting & surprise planning biz - a bust due to insurance but might revisit
- ACNH Fringe - Fringe Festival hosted on Animal Crossing New Horizons for Melbourne Fringe 2020
- Reimagining Arts Funding - exploring alternatives to Government arts funding in Australia
- Queer Lady Magician - stage magic & storytelling show, performed in Melbourne, Newcastle, PNW USA
