Along with the explosion, a promise was made. That the comrade would not be forgotten. The comrade has not been forgotten. His name became a slogan on the lips of thousands. Then it adorned walls, was written in texts and was the subject of events. However, it was not long before this name became a signature. The name of the fallen anarchist guerrilla Kyriakos ceased to belong exclusively to him. Conspirators met and nuclei were formed with his name. Commandos slipped away in the night and in the shadows in order to give light and noise to the quiet monotony of the metropolis. Going along this path, we decided to carry out a raid on the cops who have taken up camp on Strefi Hill.
We struck in broad daylight, reminding the uniformed bastards that they will never be in peace amid us even for a moment. In recent years, there has been an effort to turn the Exarcheia neighbourhood into a well-guarded alternative resort, where tourists enjoy the aesthetics of the “subculture” and the unconventional character of the neighbourhood without actually contributing in the slightest to the Cause and the goals for which we are fighting. Seeing what is happening before our eyes, we choose not to stand by as observers. We choose direct action, militantly defending our projects and ideas in the here and now. The Exarcheia you dream of will turn into your worst nightmares.
PS: We were saddened about the absence of the riot police as we really wanted to see them running after what happened the previous night, during the memorial march and more generally in the neighbourhood. On the other hand, their colleagues from the OPKE (Special Police Teams for Crime Prevention and Suppression) team proved to be satisfactorily efficient in the game of hide and seek.
PS2: We also dedicate this action to comrade Christos Spilios, who died recently, but will always be in our struggles.

Tuesday, October 7, some more sad news, another day that leaves us frozen, our comrade, our Christaras, our XR, our eternal street fighter, has gone forever.
Comrade Christos Spilios, a native of the metropolitan youth and the rising anarchist movement, found himself on the just side of the barricade since 1990. He participated continuously and with all his being in every form of struggle, from solidarity with political prisoners, almost always Christaras started ”the passion” as in how many photographic snapshots of chained comrades do we remember his fist accompanying their smile. Christos was always here, with his madness, with his smile, and even with his demons that he always eluded.

News From an Antizionist Intervention in Exarchia, Greece
On Friday 3/10, following the call of the Coordination of activity for the defense of Exarcheia, an anti-Zionist intervention took place in the neighborhood of Exarcheia. More than 100 comrades took part in the intervention, while throughout its course, the body, moving in a march through the streets of Exarcheia, filled the walls and streets with pro-Palestinian/anti-Zionist posters, sprays, stencils and trikes, distributed texts, while at the same time various interventions were carried out in hotels and accommodations of Israeli (and non-) interests.
Exarcheia is not a neighborhood where Zionist discourse is expressed with great ease in the public space, due to the broader political characteristics of Exarcheia and the pro-Palestinian actions of the neighborhood’s assemblies/initiatives. Nevertheless, Israeli capital has settled in the neighborhood mainly through hotels/accommodations. The sharp increase in Israeli real estate and Israeli tourist investments in Greece, centered on the center of Athens, strengthens the economy of the murderous state of Israel, contributing to the resilience of the Israeli economy. All this at a time when Israel continues to ruthlessly ethnically cleanse and genocide the Palestinians. At the same time, the existence of Israeli capital in downtown neighborhoods, such as Exarcheia, seeks to make Exarcheia a safe place, both for Zionists in general and for the Israelis who actively participate in the genocide of the Palestinian people.
For the above reasons, as well as in view of October 7th of 2023, we called for an anti-Zionist intervention defending both the Palestinians’ undeniable right to land and freedom, and the political characteristics of Exarcheia. A vibrant neighborhood that will remain welcoming to immigrants, that takes to the streets against state violence, labor exploitation, patriarchy, wars, colonialism, genocides, that resists and self organizes. In the Exarcheia of internationalism and self-organization, of struggles and insurrection, where solidarity with the Palestinian struggle has been timeless: through the dozens of solidarity demonstrations at the square, in Strefi, in the social centers, the squats, the political spaces and from the streets of clashes and riots. We refuse to surrender Exarcheia to any capital, we refuse to remain inactive in the face of Israeli capital that silently profits in our neighborhood.
