In the end I had to reset #Eve #EveThermo to factory settings to add it again.
OF COURSE I have forgotten my #network is segmented and you cannot pair a fucking #HomeKit device if your #AppleTV and #iPhone are in different vlans…
Also, #HomeAssistant #Matter support is also restricted by vlans and it all has to be one subnet…
Matter was supposed to be easy and universal…
Well… My only #ThreadOverMatter enabled #EveThermo has gone offline yet again for reasons unknown to me. Of course there are no meaningful logs available for HomeKit… No wait… I haven’t seen ANY logs whatsoever…
I’m replacing that shit on the next pay day with a #Zigbee thermostat…
