On Friday, Koen Lenaerts, President of the #CJEU, spoke at Humboldt University in Berlin.
In a lecture entitled “Citizenship in Motion: Striking the balance between Union and Nation”, he reflected on how EU citizenship continues to evolve and how the Court, step by step, shapes that balance through its case-law on the rule of law, democracy and solidarity.
