Things that are not necessarily bad but getting worse due to forced #AI.

So I spotted an @ONLYOFFICE logo in a toot about non-US tech alternatives and figured I'd have a look because I'd never actually bothered with it. Opened the web site, looked, saw "now powered by AI-powe..." and hit the tab close button hard.

Ah google, you old devil, I think I now know why you are giving me email summaries despite me having already disabled gemini for my workspace

There's a new (relatively new??) item in the "Generative AI" menu in the admin console called "NotebookLM" (which is, of course, enabled by default) and this appears to make use of Gemini (despite the fact Gemini is disabled) to generate planet-warming insights that may be dangerously incorrect
