A thing being repeated across businesses worldwide, including at Microsoft, is C level execs struggling to know why most staff aren’t using Copilot for M365, despite how much it costs.
Because most staff don’t spend all day in Teams meetings reading out PowerPoint slides to people who pretend to care. They have actual jobs. Doing work. Which they know how to do. Because it is their job.
We have a sad tale today from Manchester Piccadilly station.
This is Chocolat. Or at least that's the name printed on their foot.
They're a lovely, cuddly black kitty who was sadly separated from their owner on Platforms 3 & 4 about 19.14.
We heard a tinkle of broken glass and helped their owner tidy up however she had left before I could pass this lovely kitty back to her owner.
Unable to find her on the nearby train we are a bit lost.
Please share this far and wide, across any social media and maybe we can help reunite this poor kitty with their rightful owner.
We will ensure Lost Property here look after her in the meantime.
@RichBartlett @vlrny we are all doing what we can, within our means. In addition, I find it makes a big difference, to me, to have regular zoom checkpoints w. like-minded friends.
▪ Monday: cowork with C. We use Pomodoro timeboxes for important things we'd otherwise procrastinate on.
▪ alternate Sundays: sit & quietly art journal & chat with friends near & far.
▪ alternate Fridays: end of week unwind with a dear colleague.
These keep me anchored, let me vent, keep us all human & softer. 🙏❤
@RichBartlett thank you so much for asking this question. I am gobbling up ppl's replies.
For myself:
1) any kind of movement helps gets that rage buildup out of my body
2) using that anger to fuel momma-bear protectiveness for those more vulnerable than me
3) even small acts of rebellion help me feel I still have power
4) anger is protective, so when rage is off the hook I am probably feeling worn out and vulnerable - rest, reach out, recharge
So @xaitax has cracked Microsoft Recall, he's got access to the encrypted database and has automated dumping of screenshots and all text from screenshots.
I've looked at most recent Recall and yep, you can just read the database as a user process. The database also contains all manner of fields which aren't publicly disclosed for tracking the user's activity.
No AV or EDR alerts triggered, world's #1 in infostealer 😅
* you can just read it in plain text
