swans and bouys

pair of swans pass distantly on a trail
legs and tails move slowly
sun sets over hills nearby
our time goes by silently

waiting, two babies beaming crossed off days
mother's kiss another fling
the stuffed bear is air soaring
to the sound of stereo mawing

Dw i'n ceisio darllen yr #englyn 'ma, ond dydw i ddim yn deall 100%...
Rhywbeth fel:

Harness Horse

Heavy walker, between the furrows -- long you lingered
but the chains/straps/tack/gear rusted.
And this country from following/chasing/harassing (?!?!) you
the poorer -- a medal to you.

Dw i'n ceisio darllen yr #englyn'ma.

Rhywbeth fel:

Old cow of the upper pasture--without a collar
That's grazing quietly today.
And leaves of May are like honeycomb....

ond mae'r llinell olaf yn anodd!

after rosegrass (of?) the rack???

All rhywun yma fy helpu fi?

Niche #data #chrochet idea: produce a colour workpattern based on forms of #Welsh poetry, eg. a combination of stitches and colours to indicate #cynghanedd rhyme scheme and length of #poem and/or stanzas. A series of #englyn could produce a patchwork blanket, a #pryddest would make a rad scarf that would make Dr Who hang his head in shame.

@Greenseer I first heard of Castell Dinas Brân from reading and #englyn, and wasn't aware it was a real place til some years later. It's an amazing site that I'll have to visit someday.

Is there a story behind the name ("Crow City Castle", I guess)?

Pridd

Yn y pridd mae’r ffatri’n parhau i greu
ac i roi o’i nwyddau.
Di-baid yw’r gwaith ond weithiau
caf ofn rhag ofn iddi gau.
