#EmergencyRally today in #Montreal at 5pm outside Immigration Minister Marc Miller’s office, 3175 Rue Saint-Jacques, in support of #ZainHaq, set to be deported tonight to Pakistan for peaceful #ClimateActivism—a first in North America. Zain is married to Sophia, a Canadian citizen. Last April, Zain was granted a temporary residency permit while spousal sponsorship was reviewed. This week it was denied without explanation. With growing repression of protests, we must stand up to this injustice.
