Regarding #Snakemake support for #EESSI: That is almost there, already. Will not find time to complete before the end of the month, though.
@boegel we just (and finally) set up #EESSI. Pretty fast, even for first time loads and sooo many packages.
Of course, there will be issues (in our setup, with some 3rd party software and other quirks), but hey, what for a relief compared to the semi-manual install procedures!
