How Many PCs Can Try a Skill Check?

#DnD #ttrpg #DrawSteel #Daggerheart

Time for a #DrawSteel respite, except a hero’s Complication triggers and everyone is pulled onto a star cruiser, battling time raiders! Then a montage to escape the people they stole the ship from!
The heroes dash for the elevated door, but the Tomb Horror breaks the upper level, sending it to the ground! (Part of the upper balcony has been removed and placed at an angle on the ground. A hero still clings atop the huge plant and earth mini.) #DrawSteel
Fantastic #DrawSteel session as the heroes face a Tomb Horror and undead vine creatures in the Delian Tomb! One hero bravely climbed the horror! (Terraclips terrain shows a cracked formerly grand dungeon, with a wrap-around balcony. An enormous plant and earth creature and various small vines one’s.)

How Many PCs Can Try a Skill Check?

When one PC is about to roll a skill check, is it okay if the rest of the party tries too? How does Guidance and Advantage impact probability? And let's talk about how this impacts other RPGs!

Slight spoilers for the #DelianTomb but I'm so happy with how this terrain has turned out!

My own take on magnetic dungeon tiles plus some extra bits without nasty near-unrecyclable XPS foam :)

Made of paper dolls for my #drawSteel session I've started running. They went down a treat.

I am genuinely torn on which system to run my next Actual Play Campaign in: #DnD #Daggerheart or #DrawSteel

It'll be Heroic Fantasy with a load of my improviser friends, so we don't need any support for the roleplaying and social side just adventuring and combat mechanics.

Persuade me?

My 2 cents on #DrawSteel.

I really like Draw Steel, but it's publisher, MCDM Productions, has a bad business model. It has a website, but if you want the latest news, you have to either:

* Become a paying member on Patreon.
* Be on the Discord (I cannot even remember how I found the link for it, and get a fraction of the news).
* Follow their social media (for a fraction of the news they post on Patreon).

A less-than-ideal way to get people connected to and excited about your product.
