This is purely my own headcanon and dragon related lore that lives in my head, but it's something I've wanted to share for a while.

In my head, all dragons are capable of using magic, no matter what kind of dragon they are, since magic courses through inside all of them. This allows them to cast magic without needing to cast any kind of incatations, though some prefer to say them anyway to sound more majestic or cool.

All dragons has access to some basic dragon magic, like shape/sizeshifting, magic breath and flight (even those without wings can fly, either by floating or by conjuring wings with some practice).

This will obviously apply to my own sona Tesh, who apart from his natural magic, specialices to a more obscure kind of magic. More, cosmic like.

For example Tesh is capable of creating domains or area of effect fields with different properties and enchants, negating gravity, creating objects with minor sentience like magic hands or blankets or even floating hearts. Memory fragments that are created when the caster and one more person are next to them, so that they can relive the memories later, access to magic pockets, etc.

I've been using the aforementioned ones in my own writing, and I know certain someone who enjoys whenever I write myself using the magic.
