For me it‘s:
#Adnd2e partly due to nostalgia bc I was socialized into the hobby through Adnd2e and because it is still a good and very module game from my point of view, if (!) one ignores the bloat delivered by TSR’s splatbooks.

#DnDBX / #OSE or the Basic Line of the game: it just works and has put a charm on be. OSE + Advances Options provides me with everything I want from a trope-y Dragongame.

#Shadowdark Masterfully streamlined version giving me Adnd-vibes. #dnd6e of the hearts, truely.

@tintenteufel @moodywarlock @TMushmen i second, Shadowdark IS #dnd6e of the hearts plus it is a well-established knowledge that the Moody Warlock likes some horror infused dark fantasy, and - oh boy - Shadowdark performs well in this regards.

I like our #osr open table (#Valravn) so much. Today, I could assemble two fine gentlemen around lunchtime for some dungeon crawling in the evening. Scheduling drama/grind no more, thanks to the open table.
Celebrating 50 years of #dnd with a spontaneous session of #Shadowdark aka #dnd6e of the hearts. Players navigated through an extremely dangerous area of the dungeon and their PCs survived due to luck 🍀 and skillful play.

@tintenteufel for me, #Shadowdark is also #dnd6e of the hearts ❤️ Old School #dnd presented in a streamlined and very accessible way. Over the last months, we played the hell out of Shadowdark at our open table and I keep on discovering new aspects of the game. It is versatile when it comes to different settings, plays super fast, and appears to be well suited for gothic horror infused dnd a la Ravenloft. Wonder how it holds up after PCs reach level 5 or 6?

Die Co-SL werden u.a. einen Insel-Hexcrawl mit Meeresfrüchten, mit Ravenloft überbackenen Gothic Horror und Weird Fantasy an Sword & Sorcery auftischen. Ich werde #ArdenVul an den Start bringen.

@KeroZelvin cool! I also find it super easy to run #BX #OSE and 1e modules with Shadowdark. The game keeps on giving. My gaming highlight of 2023 🙂 We have launched a Shadowdark open table with a bunch of GMs and so far it has been a great an exciting experience. For me, Shadowdark is #dnd6e of the hearts. All the Dragongame fun and tropes without the rules bloat
