Finished. Hybrid bass amp (valve preamp, IC power amp) plus 2x10 bass cabinet. The baffle is a found piece of oak 2.5in thick which makes the sound precise and responsive. Building this rig has been... character building... but it sounds great #bassguitar #diyamp #bass

Breadboarded the preamp stages of my bass amp with a 12AU7 valve, which I'm running at 9v to get some nice overdrive at high gain. The pot is a tone control and it works pretty well. I'll need to add a gain pot too or I'll just sound like Lemmy all the time #bassguitar #amplifiers #diyamp #electronics
