EPA opens investigation of Colorado's oil&gas permitting process and ties to racial discrimination.
Our only oil refinery is in the middle of a heavily hispanic, lower income area. And guess what, the refinery regularly "malfunctions" and just happens to spew pollution into a poor and brown community.
Lots of reasons to shut that place down and environmental justice is another good reason.
