Ghostty 터미널의 초고속 코어 엔진을 분리해 어디서나 실제 커맨드라인을 임베드할 수 있게 만든 데스크톱 앱용 패키징 도구 Ghostling이 공개됐다. 터미널 UI를 네이티브 앱으로 감싸는 기존의 번거로운 문제를 크게 줄여주는 실용적 도구다.
Packaging terminal interfaces as native desktop apps is usually a nightmare. But the team behind the Ghostty terminal just dropped Ghostling, and I’m genuinely impressed. It basically rips out Ghostty’s ultra-fast core engine so you can embed a real command line into anything.
I was thinking to be fluent in another #ProgrammingLanguage/framework.
The low hanging fruit would be #Java, but either way I'd have to learn #Springboot. Even thoudh I'd love to work with #vertx.
But I was thinking about a low level language like #Cpp or #Rust.
Any suggestions or tips? Is it even possible (or sustainable) this? How to keep up in the loop in both worlds?

🥳 New Kitten¹ Release
• Fixes: Page infinitely refreshes if class does not extend `kitten.Page`
Kitten now shows a helpful error message for this authoring error.
(The issue was due to the page getting rendered without the necessary scaffolding provided by the base class for maintaining the web socket connection,. leading to Kitten thinking the socket connection had failed and triggering a reload to reestablish it.)
