Shadow IT is usually just a polite way of saying your developers found a faster route around your broken infrastructure bottlenecks.

By standardizing the platform layer while giving engineers total freedom in their code, you can finally trade chaos for predictable behavior and sleep better at night. 🎯

Moving to automated guardrails means compliance becomes a deterministic outcome rather than a manual chore. âš¡

Spacelift surveyed 406 IT and platform leaders. Most teams are now shipping AI-written infrastructure code with minimal or no review, and nearly every org has had at least one AI-caused infrastructure incident in the past year. The structural fix is platform engineering, not AI policy decks. https://go.aintelligencehub.com/ma-aiinfrareviewgap2026

AI-written infrastructure code is shipping with little review

A Spacelift survey of 406 IT and platform leaders finds most teams deploy AI-generated infrastructure code with minimal or no review, and nearly every organization has already had an AI-caused infrastructure incident.

Digital Neutrality: Switzerland's Engineering Advantage in the AI Era - watch Aarno Aukia's closing session from yesterday's Swiss Software Festival 2026.
AI writes the code. But who controls the runtime? Aarno makes the case for digital neutrality as an engineering discipline - not a political stance.

For the first time in a decade, humans are actually the minority on the open web.

While your legacy stack is busy waiting for human think-time, AI agents are already hammering your infrastructure with complex and zero-latency demands.

It is time to decide if these new users are a massive revenue stream or just a total system failure. 🎯

I love this little thing, a YAML compiler to create little declarative whatevers :: CLI tools, reports, synthetic users, load testing, HAR data, whatevers :: that pass context between them. Take a bit of Unix pipes and add the rich structure passed between Powershell commandlets without all the extra nonsense and you get roughly whatever this turned out to be. Plus parameters with caching for CLI tools with memory and it's all the glue you need to run a thing from the comfort of your office
