dabei habe ich auch einige #RSS -feeds für bibliothekarische #fachzeitschriften von #DeGruyterBrill in meinen feed-reader eingetragen, die jens mittelbach (@jmiba) freundlicherweise zur verfügung stellt, weil der verlag das seit jahren nicht mehr, pardon, gebacken bekommt (und ich die zeitschriften daher in der letzten zeit per website-monitoring-workaround unter beobachtung hatte).

@awinkler @vform @Gerrit_Heim ich hab den relaunch der #DeGruyterBrill-website zum anlasse genommen, nochmal nachzufragen, ob noch hoffnung auf #RSS-feeds oder wenigstens email-alerts für die zeitschriften besteht. antwort: "Wir bieten keine RSS Feeds mehr an, da die Technologie veraltet ist." nee klar. 🙄
ich hab nachgefragt, wie sie sich das denn vorstellen, dass interessierte leser:innen von neuen heften/artikeln erfahren. erwarte eine antwort à la "über datenbanken" oder sowas in der art.

Jaarlijkse strategiedag (of zoals we het tot nu noemde: De Brill Dag), met een fietstocht om Woubrugge heen. En wat is dan leuker om met een internationaal gezelschap op de fiets een pondje te nemen ⛴️

Na, super: Konzentrationsprozess in der Publikationsbranche geht weiter. #DeGruyter und #Brill heiraten und sind bald #DeGruyterBrill.

De Gruyter ist ein Abzockerverein, der Bücher in Indien setzen lässt. Von Menschen, die weder die Sprache noch die Symbole verstehen und Texte zerstören. Die Arbeit machen dann hochbezahlte Autor*innen hier, die das Chaos dann mit Kontrolldurchgängen reparieren sollen. Handbuch Semantik war ein Beispiel, es gibt auch jüngere Beispiele. Formeln total zerschossen.
