1977 erschien das fünfte Studioalbum #DeceptiveBends von #10cc – das erste nach dem Ausstieg mehrerer Bandmitglieder. Besonders erfolgreich war die Single #TheThingsWeDoForLove, die Platz 5 der britischen Charts erreichte und auch international punkten konnte.
