A #Czech anonymous donor has donated #CZK 100 million ($4.82 million) to the fundraising initiative #Dárek_pro_Putina (#Gift_for_Putin).

The funds will be used to rapidly procure a wide range of military-related equipment for #Ukraine, including various types of drones, explosive materials, shotguns, and frontline gear. Part of the money will be used to purchase a second #Hector firefighting robot.

A #Czech initiative #Dárek_pro_Putina (#Gift_for_Putin) has raised more than #CZK 12,5 million ($598,3 thousand) in under 48 hours to buy a #Flamingo missile for the #AFU, it said in a statement.

#Dárek_pro_Putina organizer, #Martin_Ondráček, told #Czech news website #Novinky that the speed at which donors reached the target "exceeded all our expectations." The total amount raised is more than $640 thousand, according to the project's website.

Wer hat schon mal einen Strafzettel aus Tschechien per Post (Einschreiben/Rückschein) erhalten? Bei einer Reise im Juni durch CZ bin ich offenbar in einer Ortschaft 4 km/h zu schnell gefahren. Jetzt wollen sie genau 600 CZK, d. h. ungefähr 25€. Sie bestehen auf dem exakten Betrag von 600 CZK. Bei Überweisung vom Bankkonto in CZK würden aber enorme Gebühren entstehen. So habe ich den Betrag einfach in Euro überwiesen. Hat jemand Erfahrung mit solch seltsamen Vorgängen? 😇

Ministr financí Bohuslav Sobotka začal tišit obavy z odkladu přijetí eura. V rozhovoru pro agenturu Reuters uvedl, že pro zpoždění vstupu do eurozóny nevidí důvod. Jeho náměstek Eduard Janota přitom nedávno prohlásil, že bez výrazných rozpočtových škrtů je přijetí eura ohroženo.
