I’m deep down the course planning hole and keep wildly vacillating between “how can I cover all the content I want to in so little time?!?” and “how can I possibly generate enough content for three lectures a week?!?”
Posted about this elsewhere, but curious if I’ll get different/more suggestions here.
I’m playing with an idea for a #MaterialCulture class on lost objects and objects of loss. Right now it’s just a doc of possible topics - stolen #art, #memorials to the #LostCause, Ashley’s sack from All That She Carried, the #Titanic (both ship and necklace)
Anyone have suggestions? Examples of lost/loss objects and possible readings welcome! Thanks!
Met with my #researchmethods TAs and now to do some more #courseprep and then #dissertation #research.
Anyone else on the #dissertating journey? Or #jobsearch? It's stressful!
