Now they accuse the same man of being a Jacob Ree Smogg style #Brexiteer. It's quite obvious what Starmer's game is. The #Tories have called him out on it, he's denied it, but the remnants of Labour's hard left will use any crumb of a change in his Brexit narrative to say Starmer can't be trusted. ๐

The ERG have been bleeding influence since the demise of Doris. They did a deal to support him as PM if he became the face of #Brexit, & they undermined May & delivered on their promise. Without Doris, there was no potential leader who owed them.
You could see how weakened they were after first supporting the disastrous Liz Truss, leaving no one listening to them as #Sunak walked to his coronation.
