The family of software that supports #COPC is growing. Just noticed Agisoft Metashape Pro (ver 2.1) can export to COPC. 😀

#gischat - I'm possibly working with some #pointcloud data that is available as tiles. Was thinking to convert to #copc files to work with... but to work with the data holistically at once, would I need to mosaic? Or is there something like a vrt equivalent for point clouds?
(Was googling around quick, and figured someone here might have a good resource to share that I'm just missing)

Trying out the current development version of Potree with COPC.laz support.

It WORKS! (pending more testing)

It did "bork" all my old EPT projects... but that should work it self out before official release (I hope).

My point cloud pipeline is looking more and more like a #COPC pipeline. (nudge-nudge #CloudCompareGPL)

One of the very frustrating things about Twitter's death is the audience I had built up around LiDAR technical practitioners is basically gone now. They would be very excited to what Cam and Connor from the Hobu team have built – a browser-based COPC.io validation and inspection tool. Visit https://validate.copc.io/?copc=https://s3.amazonaws.com/hobu-lidar/cn-tower-20-50m-HAG.copc.laz to see it validate a cloud file or visit https://validate.copc.io/ and drag-n-drop your own files on it.
